Relationship Trauma Recovery: Pet-Partnered Boundaries

  • 20 Steps

About

This program provides practical tools for relationship trauma recovery by practicing boundary-setting with domestic pets. Using Animal Assisted Healing principles, learners will focus on retraining the nervous system and establishing a sense of internal safety. The curriculum guides participants through identifying physical stress cues and building self-awareness during direct interactions with dogs or cats. By using animals as safe practice partners, you will develop the foundational skills and emotional resilience needed to communicate and maintain healthy boundaries in your human relationships. This program assumes a baseline of psychological stability and is intended to help you feel more grounded, more empowered, and more hopeful as you move forward. Please refrain from participating in any exercises you are uncomfortable with.
